John C. Hand, 84, passed away in his sleep on April 18, 2015. He was born October 10, 1930 to the late Bay and Sophie Hand.
John graduated from Shortridge High School and Indiana University. One of his finest achievements was going back to I.U. after the age of 40 to get his Law Degree.
He went on to Retire as General Council from Farm Bureau Insurance Company and he also formerly served on the Governor’s Task force Against Drunk Driving. John loved Ballroom Dancing, Bridge, and music.
Survived by: wife, Bonnie; children, Margaret Hand, Catherine Singletary, John M. Hand (Joni), Susan Brundage (Jim) and Kevin Hand (Ginny); 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren ;2 brothers-in-law; Nieces, cousins and many friends

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in John’s honor to The Indianapolis Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
